Make a representation for not filing an identity verification statement

Making a representation means telling us about exceptional circumstances you want us to consider before we take enforcement action for an overdue filing.

You can only use this form to make a representation for not filing:

• a confirmation statement and director identity verification statements
• an identity verification statement for a person with significant control (PSC)

If your representation is accepted, we'll pause enforcement action to give you time to file.

When to make a representation

You should only make a representation after you've received a letter informing you that your filing is overdue (also known as a 'default letter').

You must make the representation within 28 days of the date of that letter.

If you make a representation too early or too late, it will be rejected.

What you'll need

To complete this form, you'll need to provide:

• your full name and email address
• the company name
• the company number
• the date on your default letter, if you have it
• information about the exceptional circumstance
