What happens next

The Attorney General’s Office will review your request and decide whether to send it to the Court of Appeal.

If you or a family member are directly involved in a case and we have been informed of this, you will be informed of the outcome of the decision made by the Attorney General or the Solicitor General. Please note, if a case is sent to the Court of Appeal, the court will decide whether the sentence should be increased or remain the same.
