Who can apply

You must be a fully qualified approved driving instructor (ADI) to apply for set up a new business account to book driving tests for your pupils.

If you have a trainee driving instructor licence

You cannot apply to set up a new business account if you have a trainee driving instructor licence.

As a trainee licence holder, you're only allowed to give instruction from the establishment that is training you. You cannot work independently, such as by setting up your own school.

If your training establishment has a business account, they can set up a user account for you to book and manage tests from their account.

Talk to the person who books driving tests at the establishment that is training you to get access.
