It’s quicker to apply by phone during working hours

Call the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) to apply for a replacement Driver CPC card during working hours.

It’s quicker than applying online.

You’ll need a credit or debit card to pay the £25 application fee. You can drive professionally as soon as you’ve paid at the end of the call.

Apply online at other times

You can apply online outside of working hours.

DVSA will then need to call you to collect the £25 fee. They aim to call you back within 2 working days, but this might take longer at busy times.

You cannot drive professionally until DVSA has called you back and you have paid the fee.
