Whistleblowing and malpractice

You’re a whistleblower if you’re a worker and you report certain types of wrongdoing. This will usually be something you’ve seen at work - though not always.

As a whistleblower you’re protected by law - you should not be treated unfairly or lose your job (opens in new tab) because you ‘blow the whistle’.

For further information, please see Whistleblowing for employees (opens in new tab) and Ofqual's whistleblowing policy (opens in new tab).

If you do not qualify as a whistleblower you can raise a concern about wrongdoing or malpractice.
