Marine Management Organisation (MMO) invites fisheries stakeholders who have been impacted, either positively or negatively, by the recent octopus bloom to take part in this voluntary online survey.
We are gathering information from those impacted by the octopus bloom on what support would be welcomed. The responses will help us to identify economic impacts, preferred routes of support, as well as contributing to the development of a long-term strategy for octopus and affected fisheries.
Although completing the survey cannot guarantee that specific support will be introduced, your feedback is important and will help us build a clearer picture of what types of support stakeholders feel would be most helpful. This will guide us as we explore options and consider what may be possible.
